Account Deletion

Delete in the Android app

1. Open SaarMitra and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open Profile, then find Privacy and account.
3. Select Delete account, read the permanent-deletion warning, and type DELETE.
4. Sign in again with the same Google account. SaarMitra uses this recent authentication to prevent unauthorised deletion.
5. Keep the app open until deletion completes. If it fails, check your connection and retry.

Do not test this flow with an account you need. Completed deletion cannot be undone.

Android ऐप में खाता हटाएँ

1. सारमित्र खोलें और उस खाते से साइन-इन करें जिसे हटाना है।
2. Profile खोलें और गोपनीयता और खाता भाग पर जाएँ।
3. खाता हटाएँ चुनें, चेतावनी पढ़ें और DELETE लिखें।
4. उसी Google खाते से दोबारा साइन-इन करें। इससे अनधिकृत deletion रोका जाता है।
5. प्रक्रिया पूरी होने तक ऐप खुला रखें। विफल होने पर इंटरनेट जाँचकर फिर प्रयास करें।

What is deleted

The governed deletion process removes Firebase sign-in and SaarMitra student data associated with the authenticated account, including the profile, exam progress, rewards and streak records, attempts and review data, feedback, usage records, and leaderboard entries.

What may be retained

A one-way, non-identifying deletion audit is retained for security and compliance. Google Play or other providers may retain transaction records under their own policies. Bounded backups may persist temporarily where required for recovery, security, fraud prevention, disputes, or law and are not restored as an active account.

Google Play subscription

Deleting SaarMitra does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. Review or cancel it separately in Google Play subscriptions.

Cannot access the app?

Email saarmitrasupport@gmail.com from the email linked to your SaarMitra account with the subject “SaarMitra account deletion.” Do not send passwords, PINs, purchase tokens, or identity documents unless support provides a secure, necessary verification method.
