Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to SaarMitra’s learning and exam-preparation services. Features can vary by release, account, exam, and region. Where a feature described below is not available to you, information associated only with that feature is not collected through your use of it.

The public website at saarmitra.com is a static information site. It does not provide sign-in, set advertising or analytics cookies, or access SaarMitra learning records.

2. Information we handle

Account and profile information

When Google Sign-In is used, Firebase Authentication receives information made available by Google for sign-in, such as your name, email address, profile image, provider identifier, and a SaarMitra account identifier. We may also store profile details you choose to provide.

Learning choices and activity

Depending on the features you use, we may handle your selected exam, language or learning preferences, content activity, study progress, XP, Coins, Streak, quiz and test attempts, answers, scores, completion history, and related learning milestones.

Feedback and communications

We may store feedback, support messages, and information about notices or updates delivered to or acknowledged by your account.

Technical and diagnostic information

SaarMitra uses Firebase infrastructure to provide authentication, data storage, files, and application functions. If diagnostics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, or analytics are enabled in the version you use, those services may process device and app information, approximate timestamps, app version, diagnostic events, and crash or performance details. We use this information to maintain reliability and understand feature performance.

Advertising and paid features

If and when an ad-supported release uses Google AdMob, advertising services may process advertising identifiers, consent choices, ad interactions, and device or approximate location signals according to applicable settings and law. If subscriptions, Pro access, or paid offers are available, the app store or payment provider processes the purchase; SaarMitra may receive entitlement status, product, transaction reference, price, and renewal or cancellation status. SaarMitra does not receive your full payment-card number from an app store purchase.

3. How we use information

• Authenticate accounts and protect access to SaarMitra.
• Provide selected exams, learning content, practice, tests, progress, rewards, and communications.
• Save preferences and maintain continuity across sessions or devices.
• Respond to feedback, support, account, and deletion requests.
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
• Manage subscriptions, offers, entitlements, or advertising when those features apply.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Service providers and disclosure

SaarMitra uses Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage, to operate the service. Google processes information for these services under its applicable terms and privacy commitments.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, to investigate abuse or security incidents, or as part of a business reorganisation where appropriate safeguards apply. Advertising and payment providers receive only the information needed for their services when those features are enabled.

5. Retention

We retain account and learning information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service. Some information may remain longer where required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, financial records, or backup recovery. We may retain aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies you.

6. Access, correction, and deletion

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your SaarMitra account. Send the request from the email linked to your account to acharyanamrata9587@gmail.com and identify it as a SaarMitra privacy or account-deletion request. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

Deleting an account can remove access and may delete or anonymise profile and learning records, subject to legal, security, transaction, and backup-retention requirements. Deleting the app from a device does not by itself delete the account.

7. Security

We use access controls, encrypted network connections, and managed cloud services intended to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security, so keep your Google account secure and contact us if you believe your SaarMitra account has been misused.

8. Younger users

Students who are not old enough to consent to digital services in their location should use SaarMitra only with permission and supervision from a parent or guardian. A parent or guardian may contact us about a younger user’s information.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as SaarMitra’s features or legal obligations change. The latest version will appear on this page with an updated date. Material changes may also be communicated through the application where appropriate.
