Delete your SaarMitra account

You can permanently delete your account and associated learning data from the SaarMitra Android app. Deletion cannot be undone.

Delete from the Android app

  1. Open SaarMitra and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Open Profile, then Account & Privacy.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Read the consequences, enter the confirmation text shown in the app, and continue.
  5. Complete the fresh Google sign-in check. The server then deletes only the authenticated account.

Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Never send a password, sign-in code, or Google credential to support.

What deletion removes

Deletion removes the Firebase Authentication account and SaarMitra profile, learning progress, theory and practice state, attempts and results, mistakes, hints, XP and Coin records, achievements, streak and study activity, selected-exam state, leaderboard entries, feedback, temporary access, and account-scoped local app data.

If your name appeared in a finalized leaderboard result, that affected result is invalidated and rebuilt without your account. SaarMitra does not currently store student-uploaded files in a user-specific Cloud Storage location.

Limited records retained without your account identity

Where a Google Play purchase token or entitlement grant exists, SaarMitra removes the account identifier and raw purchase token, then retains only a one-way deletion binding and limited transaction-state fields needed to prevent token replay or incorrect reassignment. Review-access audit records are similarly de-linked from the account. These records cannot be used to restore the deleted learning profile.

Aggregated or de-identified operational information that no longer identifies your account may remain. Managed service backups can expire according to the service provider’s normal recovery lifecycle.

Google Play subscriptions

Deleting a SaarMitra account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription separately in Google Play to stop future renewal charges.

If you cannot access the app

Email saarmitrasupport@gmail.com from the Google email address linked to your SaarMitra account, with the subject “SaarMitra account deletion request”. Support will verify account ownership before action. Requests from an unrelated address or for another person’s account are not accepted.

Signing in again later

If you sign in again with the same Google account after completed deletion, SaarMitra creates a fresh account. Deleted progress and learning state are not restored.
